My first scrapbook album made, starting with the structure, was "Mi Vida en Scrap 2". It was an international challenge from Creaciones Izzy to celebrate her you tube channel. I was very much engaged every day looking forward to see her videos explaining the basic requirements and themes. I set aside some time for me after work to do this. Scrapbooking has been a kind of stress relief from all the daily work from school.

Mi Vida en Scrap 2
My first scrapbook album made, starting with the structure, was "Mi Vida en Scrap 2". It was an international challenge from Creaciones Izzy to celebrate her you tube channel. I was very much engaged every day looking forward to see her videos explaining the basic requirements and themes. I set aside some time for me after work to do this. Scrapbooking has been a kind of stress relief from all the daily work from school.
My Scrapping Adventure
I have always loved photography. I love taking scenery pictures, nature, beach, waterfalls, sunsets, mountains, but also people, specially my family. I believe photographs keep memories alive, is like living those memories again. So, since digital photography began, I loved it even more. I didn't have to wait anymore, I was able to see my results instantaneously. I had the power of deciding whether I take that photo again or if I was satisfied with my actual photo. Then, I started with slideshows, music, titles, captions, sharing my work with my family and friend was fantastics. After that, I discovered Smilebox, a software that offers a great variety of formats, newsletters, slideshows, invitations, scrapbook pages and the best of all it's so simple to use. I can post to blogs or any social platform, print or save in my computer. They offer a free download for teachers.
I bought a basic black 12 x 12 album. I did some simple layouts, chose neutral colors and added some embellishments, titles using my sidekick which I still have. Layouts were simple because I wanted to accommodate few photos on each. It was a long trip, and I had a lot of photos. I also had a several enlarged pictures which I did single layouts.
This trip was to a folklore festival in Billingham, England. I went to dance with Areyto the National Folkloric Ballet of Puerto Rico and it was an extraordinary experience. The title of my layout is "Smiling in the Same Language" The dancers exchange their costumes and pose, because music and dance unite people in friendship. Hope you like it!
